In this article from the New York Times They question Barack Obama’s worth coming from having no experience to the way he runs his meetings questioning if he has the ability to control enough people or influence them to do his job how he is expected to.

  1. i think that obama will be able to fulfil his duties. just judging his success by a few points isn’t too great, and it’s not like he runs a one man show. he’ll have lots of support and backup in the future once he settles in. On doing his job, im sort of nervous as to how america will react over the course of his presidency. Though he promises change, and lots of improvements, they won’t come overnight. America is a ‘i want it now’ type of society, and we aren’t going to fix everything in four years. I think his first (maybe last…who knows) term will just be a phase to get the ball rolling. just because we dont see immediate improvements, or see a whole lot done in four years, we can’t criticize him for it. Our country is in such a shit hole as it is, we can’t expect changes overnight from ANYONE. i hope this will be a turn around phase for the U.S. and hopefully we as a country, as well as individuals can get back on our feet and turn our country into the glorious place it’s supposed to be.
